iCare Network Launches Mentorship Program for Optometry Students in Ghana

iCare Network International has officially launched the iCare Network International Mentorship Program, a one-year initiative designed to support and guide optometry students across Ghana as they navigate their academic and professional journeys.
The program connects optometry students with experienced professionals in areas such as clinical practice, academia, research, public health, and the eye care industry, both within Ghana and internationally. Through this initiative, students will receive one-on-one mentorship, participate in monthly discussions, and become part of a supportive professional network aimed at helping them develop clear career goals and build confidence as future eye care professionals.
Mentors will be matched with students based on shared interests and career aspirations, creating meaningful relationships that encourage learning, professional development, and exposure to diverse career pathways within the field of optometry.
The mentorship program reflects iCare Network International’s commitment to strengthening the next generation of eye care professionals in Ghana by providing structured guidance, mentorship, and opportunities for growth within the profession.
